wanted to add, that my Mum has knit many of those Irish/Aran sweaters, cardigans, ponchos over the years, for family and others. Will have to check with her to see if she still recalls how many she knitted over the years. I started knitting one about 15 years ago, got half way up the back and it's still at that same point LOL. It was fun to knit tho, at the time, and I enjoyed the bit I did of it, very intricate and time consuming tho'. This was long before the computer/photo addiction :)

Great photo Mary,I visited one of those Irish shops in Canada when I was at Bettys on Vacation and they have the most gorgeous sweaters in those shops,needless to say I just looked.LOL Carol

Although this shot seems to break every rule of composition one could think of, it still really works! I think it's the quality of the half light, and its very "busyness", with the lit up signs, the telephone wires, the lamp posts, etc.
