often do the same as you, Lulu, taking pics at garden centers. Was tempted to do just that yesterday, but it seemed a bit chilly, so left camera in vehicle, planning to return for it, if there was something worth photographing, but didn't do so, due to the chilly breeze. By the time we left there, we were ready for coffee and some warm food : )

Thanks for your comments Alandra and BB. Yes, I do love Gerberas also but don't have any around my property yet. I think I may have to get onto that. I was going to have them as my wedding flowers but ran out of time to organise them.

lovely flower. it could be a "single" gerbera, Lulu. I love gerberas, as well as the wonderful vivid colours of them, gerberas last so long as cut flowers also.

Great close-up! The petals look like they are on fire. Its amazing the textures you find in a close up of a flower.
