Thanks for the great comments Lorraine and Alex,it was a cold clear night here and I think that might account for it being so sharp along with a tripod.

Thanksnfor the great comments and compliments Golda and Ann. According to the Farmers Almanac,this full moon is called the Full Wolf Moon.I'm glad you enjoyed it,there is something about the moon that makes me keep trying to get a bettershot of it.

WoW,I saw this moon in all it's glory on the west coast of Canada last night,and what a specimen is was.You have done a wonderful job.Great shot and thanks for braving the winter chill to bring this image to us.
