About This Image

That is what my Granddaughter calls them, flutterbys. I believe this is a Spicebush butterfly on the milkweed flowers that have freshly bloomed in the field by my house. Framed for Steve Brown :-). Thanks for looking. Don

late as usual, Don, but agreeing with the others. Just gorgeous and love the colours. Must plant some of that milkweed to try to attract more flutterbies to our garden.

How very beautiful. I felt the butterfly was on my finger. Mom always said I got carried away and maybe she was right. But the dark black of the butterfly, with its touchs of blue,were really set off by the orange, although at same time they added to it. Wonderful picture. Anne
