Hello back, Bubbalinn! Sorry I didn't see your comment until this evening. Thank you so much. These were full of bees and I happened to catch this bloom with no insects at the time I took this. Afternoon shadows made a dark contrast to the lighted areas.

Hi Karen, I recently uploaded some cactus photos and got looking at the cactus photos and found yours :) Beautiful photo of the yellow bloom, I also like how the light gave you the dark background. The insects sure do love these..
