Thanks for the comment Alan,he does look quite intense doesn't he? I think these birds do have their "red flannels" on this time of year.lol

Hi Alex, Great close profile shot. It's eye and the flowing feathers behind it sure looks different and almost evil looking. Compared to our Finch you can tell yours are adapted with more feathers for the cold weather.
