that's really nice of you, Alan, thanks for the nice comments :) Well, this is why I put the pic showing the height of the trees, as realize the pics "aren't the best", and I do try to get the sharpest images I can, - but as you say, the owls nest is very high up, so I hoped people would understand why the images aren't the sharpest I'd like them to be.

Wonderful photo Alandra.... I like the way the sun is shining on him and that looking right at you face. I've enjoyed all of your latest owl photos.. Then seeing the trees they are in and how high they are, it is amazing how you even got these photos. Great Job!!!

that's very nice of you, Cindy, thanks very much, am happy you liked them :) I do like this one also, - the pine needles & small cones in this one are prettier than the leaves of the cottonwood trees, too.
