I imagine this would be fairly tricky to crop without losing some of the important detail. For what it's worth, if it were mine, I'd be tempted to cut the father/child out and reset them back into a non-descript nothing backdrop. The little arm with the big arm, the little feminine dress with the masculine tatts, the child's legs against the large belly, the large hand and the little arm - these are all wonderful companion details, in contrast. The cuddle is what draws them all together, so be careful what you discard.
