About This Image

These huge rocks are on one of the Heritage Trails in the South Island Of New Zealand, extensive outcrops of yellow-brown otekaike Limestone, In the Ngapara-Duntroon area. Parts of the Film the Lion the Witch and the wardrobe were filmed there. A fantistic place to visit.

We walked righ down and around them, they were so intresting, and the size of them, a very easy walk and nice walk

What a wonderful trail to follow. And the rocks are fantastic. How wonderful to just stand there and soak in the scenery and find new pictures too.

Lorraine this is a wonderful shot. the rocks look like they were an after thought and placed there. Alandra I have seen both old and new the Lion the Whitch and the Wardrobe and they are both great. Recomend them to all

interesting and nice scenery in the background. We have the older version of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. would like to see the latest version also.
