Wonderful shot. But I have to agree with Randy Emmitt, the bald eagles we see in the wild have a different "look" about them. Have noticed this with other captive birds shown here.

The eagle looks so sad, captivity doesn't do them so well. I'm sure this one was likely injured or something that keeps it in capitivity. I grew up in Cincinnati, never even heard of the Columbus Zoo.

Very nice shot. Columbus Zoo, hunh? I may be visiting that highly recommended location next month when I join my daughters in Columbus for the "Frozen Four" collegiate regional ice hockey playoffs (Go Lakers - darn - they didn't make it this year!)
