thanks Alex, am still surprised they aren't around your area. Wonder why that is? We saw one in the owl area yesterday, sitting on a nest there. It took off while I watched, didn't get a shot of it, hesitated too long : ) What a crackling of branches and twigs when it stepped off the nest! lol
