About This Image

Taken at the andong mask dance festival. This is part of a large collection of floats made of Hanji Paper. It took 5-7 people working 7 days a week 2 months to make all of them at a cost over $150,000.

The parade was long about an hour but it had more than just these floats... Hanji paper is like rice paper but is much stronger.
