Nice shot. Haven't seen our woodpecker lately either, but a flicker is stopping by to use the suet feeders. Unfortunately the starlings are hogging the suet cakes too, so we are replenishing our suet cakes approx each week.

Thanks for the comments Lorraine and Don,I'm glad you enjoyed it.This guy doesn't stop by very often so I change the suet block about once a month.I haven't seen any other woodpeckers around here.

Nice Downy shot Alex, looks like a freshly reloaded suet feeder. They love them don't they. I finally caught a red bellied woodpecker near mine, but didn't get a very good shot. Do you have those there too? Talk to you later, Don

lovely shot, I love the way you have bird feeders over there, not something you see here, in the winter when its freezing the birds need something extra, I have a feeder but its not good in wet weather. great shot.
