Thank you Nanakiwi and Mary for you kind comments. Mary, I'm afraid I don't have any internal shots of St Paul's, and I'm not sure if you're allowed to take any, but I'll try and find out! Nanakiwi, that's some ancestry! Surely worth checking out?

I like the photo of St Pauls. Sir Chris Wren designed an awful lot of buildings after the great fire. He was also a keen astonomer, many would think that he would die wealthy, but he died a pauper, but left behind some beautiful buildings to remember him by. PS Down through my mums side of the family he is I am told, my great etc grandfather.

lovely shot of this most historic and wnderful building. tremendous blue sky as a back drop and the biege's and golds of the subject... you know me now steve info time lol 604ad first church dedicatid 8 yrs after st paul problem hit by fire next one biult yep hit by fire next one vikings saw to it hit by lighting then 1666 after the plague the great fire of london up pops old chrissy boy wren and vola an impressive mounument to all others who stood before her ...
