duck is diving as it knows the gull means business this time. Gull is hollering in anger at not being able to get the fish away from the duck.
hand held, captured as I watched from the Westham Island bridge. Fraser river estuary, South Arm marshlands, habitat to many waterfowl and other birds.

Great series of shots, Alandra. This is my favourite because the composition works so well, with the gull balanced by its reflection in the water, and because the timing is so perfect.
