"Defenestration is the act of throwing someone or something out of a window." Wikipedia
Only in San Francisco...
Located at 6th and Howard Streets, an older building was converted into an art project, called "Defenestration". Conceived by Brian Goggin, a local sculptor, the project was completed in 1997.
Having worked in San Francisco and living in the Bay area for many years, I had no idea this building existed. One evening while driving past, I noticed the couches, chairs, lamps, bathtubs, refrigerators, clocks and televisions climbing out the windows and crawling over the building's surface.
Difficult to appreciate in picture like this, I have posted it to give you a sense of scope. I plan on posting several other photos of specific items on the building's exterior.
