About This Image

This is the first time I have taken shots with this camera. Has lots of bells and whistles which are new to me. I need to read the manual more carefully, I guess.

Nice Scattered cloud here Karen,we haven't had much red sunset here lately,this spring/summer is like winter at the moment,the ice burges floating at the bottom of the South Island are having a big impact on our climate over the whole of New Zealand, regards Vince

Welcome to the D200 club! It's a fantastic camera, and you'll get the best out of it if you shoot in RAW format. Not that you need any advice from me if this image is anything to go by! Beautiful exposure of a difficult subject. Great shot.
