My partner and I travelled to the States in the two weeks surrounding Memorial Day 2001, hired a car and drove around the Arizona and Nevada deserts meeting fantastic people and soaking up the history of the wild west (a boyhood dream).
The cowboys came from the OK Corral and the roadway is the quintessential Death Valley shot of the highway disappearing in the horizon and shadows
