Thanks, Talsi. I agree with you. I like to include some part of the earth as an anchor, that gives perspective. Others said it would be better to just show the sky. I guess it all depends on personal perference.

I prefer this one to the Crop Alternative., I feel the composition is better and that the trees give it some anchor.

Well, I always like to show the trees to kind of ground the picture, but I am going to post a further cropping that eliminates the trees, Marysham. Thank you to Carol, Lorraine and Marysham, for your kind words and thoughtful feedback.

I like the cropped version Karen. I wonder what it would look like if the foliage at the bottom was cropped showing just the beautiful sky and plane.
