this is the next frame, the heron has made a bit of a crash landing in the nearby small tree, after being too close to the wires. He seemed fine afterwards : )
It all happened so fast, didn't realize what was going on initially, as the herons are flying around there all the time, but this one was closer than most get, so that alerted me and was able to capture these images.
