Corn on the Cob

thanks all! Actually, they cool down a lot faster than the corn. I used to forget to put them in before boiling, and would burn my hands trying to put them in after boiling. Don't know why they cool quickly, but they do! Oh, the technology we enjoy!

cool idea for an image. Was going to say exactly the same thing, re never seeing that done before, - the corn holders being inserted prior to cooking, and also thought it a good idea, til Don mentioned how hot they'd be, lol.

Great shot of the corn. It sure does look tasty. I was thinking the same thing Golda. But now when you go to roll the corn in butter, the holders would be too hot to hold and you would have to wait for them to cool down. Which defeats the purpose of having them. Neat shot Jocelynne! Don

I have never seen anyone boil the corn with the little thingamagigs already attached,but it makes sense. A wonderful imaginative shot.
