Common Baskttail, Epitheca cynosura a mated pair as seen from the front. This type of mating is called a "wheel". Taken at Merchant's Millpond in Gates Co., NC on April 09, 2005.

Getting this photo was just a matter of watching them in flight and finding them when they landed. I saw about 10 mated pairs over land and about 60 mated pairs over the swamp.
