About This Image

A good pic of the colors of some stones for sale at Kentucky Down Under. The only "flaw" is the large glare from the flash on the one stone on the bottom right. You can see smaller glares from the other stones from how smooth and polished they are. I know; the time & day stamp needs to go but, hey, it was one of my first dozen or so pics with my (then) new & first digital camera. I was still about a total newbie to digital photography back then :P

Polished rocks are beautiful, I'm a rock lover. They can be a very tough capture for sure Jay. Nice job. Don

A very good shot, and a very fair self-analysis! The colours have indeed been well captured, and it's pretty much impossible to avoid the problem you describe if you're using built-in flash.
