About This Image

This is a shot I took at the last camera club workshop we had on April 1st. Ruth had brought in some props for us to play with. Really fun stuff. She is a really sweet lady and does a lot of work to put things together. She has a great love for photography and it is infectious. Anyway, this was a colorful bunch of flowers placed behind a piece of frosted glass. To make it a little different, I took a long enough expousure to run the zoom for a little extra kick. It is my favorite capture of the night. No special effects in photoshop, this is straight from the camera other than a little cropping and resizing. Oh, and the clear frame of course. Thanks for looking. Don

You really do learn some interesting things at your camera club Don and you always produce excellent photo's using what you've learned. This is very pretty and very interesting to view. :)

Don,this is a very clever shot.I saw a documentary on a photographer that moved the camera while taking pictures. He even swung it over his head like a lariat, and the end result was quite interesting.I like this experimental approach.

Your camera workshops must be such fun Don. With the help of Ruth's props, you've produced a stunning effect. I love it, the colours looks nice and cheerful.
