Well done, Alex. You can tell it's still cold out - I see his mating plumage hasn't emerged yet - or is this one a female? It's beautiful.

I really like this shot alex. It caught my eye when I first glanced at the thumbnail. The Goldfinch is in a perfect pose whith his head down. The chain and hook add to the composition. Beautiful work! Don

What a great composition, Alex! The cold hard iron against the soft (and hopefully warmer!) feathers gives this shot a textural interest it would not have otherwise.
