This is at Lake Pontchartrain outside LaPlace, Louisiana. The boards were a pier at one time. The bricks in the foreground is helping to alleviate the problem.

looks like a beautiful lake, to bad the pier rotted away.Good project for your boyscouts to work on. Carol
