About This Image

I've had many Cicada Killers nesting in my yard and decided to do a photo shoot of them. This wasp has captured its prey (a cicada) and is about to drag it into its nesting chamber to feed its larvae.

great macro. first time I've seen this one. Makes me wonder if I should give the Canon 100mm macro another chance. I had one a year or more ago, and didn't care for it, so exchanged it for a wide angle lens. This really is an amazing image, as others have commented.
