About This Image

This part of Warwickshire, England is very rural and the windmill stands above the plague village (Black Death) of Chesterton. The village disappeared because of the plague except for the church.

Absolutely love this photo. Does anyone know of an artist that could replicate this for me or that has something very similar for sale

This is a great shot, I love the contrast between the blue sky and the green grass it makes the windmill POP.

Beautiful sky and colors. Very lovely though a strange fate for those who built this structure.

oh, another great shot. Love that windmill! and the entire scene. Your mention of the Plague reminds me of this book I read a year ago, am sure it was about the same village - "Year of Wonders" by Geraldine Brooks. Have you heard of the book or read it? Really enjoyed it, despite it's sombre theme.
