At first I thought this was decorative only as we approached it in Lake Huron, but was informed it is an active marker light.

Thank you Gary - put another one in from your neighborhood just yesterday! I've enjoyed traveling the US and being able to write about and photograph my journey. the digital imagery started when my family got tired of waiting for pictures to be developed and wanted reports from the road that they could enjoy longer than phone calls.
