that could be the reason, Shreekant. Janice, - yes that's true about cats sheltering near the engines in cold climates. sometimes with sad results if the owner starts the vehicle without realizing the cat is there. They say to always hit the hood of the car to scare any hiding cats away, before getting into the car to start it up, in cold climates. My mom in law had a cat that met a sad fate that way in Montreal Canada years ago, one winter

It is the rainy season here. I suppose they must have got on top of the car to escape hte deluge.

Great shot Alandra. Do you think maybe they were contemplating stealing the car. Smile. Cats sometimes here they crawl under the car and up near the engine and cuddle.

nice cats. sometimes cats shelter on warm vehicles when the weather gets cool at nights, not sure if it's like that where you live.
