About This Image

At the recent Ellerslie Flower Show we saw these Fruit and Vegetables that were carved into Flowers, by a Japanese couple. What a beautiful sight they made. Who would want to eat them.

Thankyou Lorraine Whittler and Jas for looking. These are carved from Beetroot carrots and different Melons. Made a very spectacular display in the basket. I bought some carving tools to have a try. Practice makes perfect. LOL

What artistry! The hours that have gone in to producing these works of art must be phenomenal!? I love the variety of colours and textures visible here!

These are beautiful, wouldent it be great to be able to do things like this, I really love the roses they have done, great shot. cheers lorraine
