thanks to Carol, Alex and Lorraine for the nice comments. These daisies are very nice, - some from last summer overwintered outside here, in hanging baskets and planter pots,(Not the ones shown here tho') -- which is hard to believe since they originate in Africa! The flowers are not as large on those that overwintered, but we should have cut them back earlier in the season, and the flowers might've been larger, - but we weren't sure if they were alive or not, so just left them to see what happened, and now they are blooming again, so we don't like to cut them back now. My favourites of these are the pink ones with whitish petals close to the purple/mauve centers, or the frosty white ones with the purple/mauve centers.
