About This Image

A view of some desert cactus that grow where I live with a bird nest in the Cholla cactus in the top right of it. The big round one is a Barrel cactus.

Hi Alandra, Alex, Carol, and Beverly.. Well I'm late again on sending in a reply, I guess late is better than never. Thanks everyone for your fun comments. Hi Ann, Thanks also for your nice comment. About the cactus on the left with all of the arms or stems? is a Mojave Cholla. I call them the got ya, or jumping cactus. All you have to do is get close to it and it gets ya. There are many different types of Cholla cactus, there is even a Teddy Bear Cholla. The little short fat guy on the right is a Barrel Cactus.

Wow cool Alan! I have heard that there are birds in the cacti. I'm glad I found this photograph. Very enjoyable composition. Do you know the names of the two cacti that you have photographed? It would be fun to know.
