There was a dead rabbit on the dirt road by my house and before long there were 5 Buzzards cleaning up the mess. This big guy had finished it's lunch and was watching the others. It only took them about 20 minutes and the rabbit was gone. They do a great job of keeping the desert clear of the dead critters. They are so big it is almost scary getting close to them. For this shot I managed to get around 20 feet from him, I could tell if I got any closer he or she? was going to leave. I don't think he can fit in my birdhouse LOL.. It's amazing how they can glide for hours searching the ground with there also amazing eye site.
