About This Image

Flowers bloom all year on Canada's west coast. This is a Butterfly Bush in bloom - I took the photo on the grounds of the heritage Christ Church Cathedral on January 6th.

got it, - think it's Ceanothus or California Lilac, this one looks like the evergreen variety, - all bear clusters of light purple or blue flowers.

racking my brain trying to recall name of this bush. There's one growing near here, if it's the type am thinking of. Not a Buddleia or Butterfly Bush, the leaves aren't right for that.
