Thank you for the interesting history about that hotel. I was not happy with all the tall buildings so close together. Eventually, nobody has a decent view. It seems this is a city that is being loved to death.

great shot. Nice to see these : ) That's the Hotel Vancouver with the turquoise roof, there's a so called Panorama Roof up there where I've looked out from years ago, when it was one of the tallest buildings, dances were held there, probably still are. Also fabulous Christmas Buffets, which my workplace treated us to : ) memorable feasts. Georgia Street in foreground, running infront of the Hotel Vancouver. We used to live over there in the distance, at Point Grey, on Vancouver's WestSide.
