About This Image

the name Burning Bush came to mind, but will add correct name of this shrub later. The name of this shrub is Japanese Barberry "Rose Glow" variety. I'll write a fuller description asap, for anyone interested (from info on the tag that came with plant).
it has changed to such pretty colours in the past few weeks. It's in a large planter pot near our front/side gate. We'll be sorry to see the pretty leaves go.

Hi Susan, I believe the plant does have thorns, will double check next time I go outfront. It's been snowing here a bit today, early again this winter too, like it was last year. Thanks for your nice comments.

Beautiful colours. Does this plant have thorns as it looks very much like one I've got in the garden.

we didn't seem to have that much fall colour around here this year, not sure why. Am surprised your leaves are all "down". Quite a few left on the trees here yet.
