Nice composition and colors, Alfesco. Wonderful to view.

They are so beautiful against the winter branches. We, too, had the pleasure of seeing seven males and four female cardinals in our yard at the same time. They looked like Christmas ornaments. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of them.

Three cardinals at once! Wow! We usually get one or two at a time. Lovely capture!

Thanks for the comments, Golda and Julie! That was a very cold (near zero degrees F), blustery day and the birds were coming to our feeders in large numbers. We had (at one time) seven male and two female cardinals, instead of the usual two or three. There were also dozens of finches and sparrows, a few woodpeckers, chickadees, tufted tits, nuthatches, as well as a dozen or so crows. We went through about ten pounds of sunflower seeds that day.

Beautiful, birds.I would think it would be great to see these little flashes of colour, when you look out, on a snowy day! Nice trio !
