About This Image

Taken at the Arboretum in Washington, DC in winter while the little trees were bare of foliage. Did a little erasing and cloning to create the mound at the root of the tree and eliminate a small glass figure as well as the wooden box frame the tree is in. Also removed some shadows from the back wall and changed the color to a beige from gray to warm up the scene a bit.

I really like the grainy background on this shot. Gives more texture to the shot.

What a great job you did! That's a lot of work and it really paid off. A beautiful and simple photo.
