About This Image

these are Bluebells (Scilla) as we know them in Canada and in England. Thought the listers in New Zealand might be interested to see these, as they are quite different to the Bluebells there.
These are growing wild in our back garden. There are also white "bluebells" just like this only all white.

thanks very much, Mary in Kent. I agree, about the way bluebells seem so "plain and natural" - such beauty in their naturalness, somehow. Am happy with the results in this one. This is with my "old" camera.

Brilliant close up Alandra. Brilliant colour, lighting and textures. I really love bluebells- they seem so natural and wild!

thankyou Mel for the nice comments, happy you like it. In some areas in England, the woods are "carpeted" with hundreds of these, it looks like a blue carpet, so pretty.

thanks very much, Carol, glad you like it. Am surprised you don't have them there, they seem to grow wild all over the place here.

Hi Janice, thanks for the nice comment, and YES, I just went and saw the baby bird pic of yours and left a comment there. It's wonderful. I love their eyes, so big.
