About This Image

Four of the six Blue Angels (the US Navy's precision flying team), putting their F-18s in a tight turn at very high speed and close formation. This was during a practice session the day before an air show at Rochester, NY, and we were watching from a hilltop a couple miles from the airport, along with maybe a couple dozen other people. They made several pretty close passes by us, I think they were giving us a bit of special attention. Cool!

Thanks, Alan and Brian. The Blue Angels are returning to the Rochester Air Show this July, hopefully will get another opportunity to get up-close to them!
