Thank you all for the compliments. Yes it is a heron. He eventually dropped the fish. He gave up. It was half his size. I will post more of the series.

Amazing catch for both of you. I think this might be a heron rather than an egret. Beautifully captured image. It must have had a time swallowing that big fish!
