About This Image
This is one of the strangest pictures you will ever see. I can't say it is a high quality photograph, but it is among the most interesting. I just had to share...
I was down at the beach photographing birds. As I approached a big flock of birds on the beach, moving in slowly shooting photo after photo. I guess I moved a little too close and they all suddenly all took off in one instant. (Maybe 20 feet ahead). I immediately started snapping away to see what I could catch.
This photo came out. It was taken at 1/125 sec, F6.3 which should seem adequate to capture some photo (if I was lucky and pointing and focusing in the right direction). What came out was this.
The blur is caused by the rapid movement (so much for 1/125 sec). Nonetheless, if you look closely, you can see a lot of detail with many of the birds in good focus. I counted around 100 birds (of all different shapes and sizes) in this particular frame.
Though on the surface it quite chaotic, I hope you can find this photo as intriguing as I do.
