About This Image

This is the dog next door, Toby. I stood on a rock and took this over my fence. He's a beautiful dog with huge paws, he'll probably be at least 100 lbs when full grown. I hope he finds a better home.

Hi Steve! Yes, things have worked out great, so I'm relieved to see that Toby will be well cared for now. Thanks for viewing... Shawna

Hi Carol and Alandra, thanks for viewing. It's really strange, but I have an update and happy ending to this story! I talked with my neighbor today and it turns out that he found the dog a new home, he's loading up the car right now. He's going to live with a friend who's had a dog in the past and they have a large yard and lots of time to give. They already have obedience school lined up for him and I met him. He was playing with the dog in the yard today. It was the first time anyone has played with him since he came there. So, I'm relieved and happy to hear that he will have a bright future. Thanks to all for your concern! Yea!! Shawna

Hi Shawna, it's nice of you to be concerned about the poor dog, - would be the same way. Hope you have good luck in finding him a better home. You wonder why some people get dogs or any pets for that matter, if they can't bother with them.

Yes, I am concerned. I'm such an animal lover so it just makes me sad. I'm going to find out if they still want to get rid of him and then I'll post this photo to a few groups locally and see if I can find him a good home. ~Shawna
