About This Image

Some Belted Galloway cattle, better known as "Belties" because of their markings. Apparently there are both black and brown Belties, perhaps signifying their proficiency in martial arts.

I want to see a blue or green beltie. They are more my caliber of martial artist. The black beltie would be much too tough for me. Also, my kids and I didn't know what kind of cows these were, so we nicknamed them "zow" because it's a hybrid between "zebra" and "cow". We once saw a bunch of these on a farm, but on closer inspection, they turned out to be statues! Imagine our dismay! We felt deceived and didn't know they really existed until I saw this picture.

Afresco, nice capture of this unique breed of cattle. I have seen this breed in a beautiful farm just outside the village of Camden, ME. I recall stopping to view them. Interesting and an enjoyable view.
