About This Image

I believe this will be the last in the series. Flash was not used on this shot, but I did get some better lighting on the forground. I thought the diving duck adds to the triangle composition of the two key elements. Upper right corner is washed out which dissapoints me, but the picture is still quite pleasing.

I like this one too Alex. I don't usually go by rules, but the 3 do work well together and fill the frame very nicely. Color is perfect, never noticed the washed out right top. Very nice composition. Don

I think that duck is trying to look like that rock! Lol! Great camouflage trick.

I have been watching this series evolve, and I think this one is the first I have seen with three objects in the frame.I find this one more effective, as my eye is drawn first, to the bird, then around full circle to the bird again.Three's,five's,seven's and nine's,make for a more pleasing compostion.

Another excellent image in your series! The washing out of the top right is the sort of "fault" that annoys the photographer, but slips past most of the viewers unnoticed, I suspect! And anyway, in this case the resulting pastel tones are by no means detrimental.
