About This Image

Angel Falls is even more challenging to get to than its buddy Carpenter upstream.  This was my third visit and first success at getting to see Angel Falls!  My Husband and tree roots helped me get part way down and then he tied off a 150 ft rope to a tree to help us get up and down.  Thank-goodness Angel Falls is a beauty, because for me the trek sure was scary!  We will try again in the summer so I can play in the creek, but hope my legs to be stronger then!

Its steep

Its steep and can be slippery. I think most people do without the rope but I have a paralyzing fear of unstable heights. (which sometimes makes my passion a challenge). Although my husband did it last others borrowed the rope to get back up. Thanks for the encouragement!
