This barn owl is sitting on a fence by a field. Barn Owls are endangered for a number of reasons such as pesticide use and urban sprawl destroying their habitat. Barn Owls have extremely good hearing, they can perch in a high tree and actually be able to hear the heart beat of a mouse on the ground.
