thanks very much, Beverly. I was pleased at how well the various colours showed up here. Some feathers have an iridescent sheen to them. We have about 7 of these bandtail pigeons visiting us most days. We like them, very gentle timid birds.

thankyou, Chriss. These are lovely pigeons, - not the usual type that become a nuisance around buildings. These are very timid. Infact, I believe they are protected. We are always happy to see them visit our feeders, but they hadn't been around lately, so there was no food for them when just a pair of them dropped by yesterday. Sometimes we had about 5 - 7 of them here, during winter.
