baby raccoon high up in the holly tree, (seems to me to have such a look of "an old soul" somehow, old for his years/days). with clematis vine leaves all around. Had a surprise today when we saw him waaaay up there with his mother! this was captured from open back window.
It must've been that same mama raccoon that was up that same holly tree a few months ago, with the youngster from the previous year.(not sure where that one is now)
Anyway, this baby made it down to earth safely :) -the image of baby and mother strolling down the back garden was taken just after they both got down from this tree.

thanks again, Tania. I also liked the baby's expression here. Poor little guy, -- saw him and his blind mother raccoon today, first time for a couple days, as we had to go out a lot lately so missed them dropping by. Anyway, the baby was hobbling/limping a bit today, one of his hind legs was hurting him/her. It worried me, but I watched him for awhile and he could bear weight on it, altho could see it was hurting, - so hopefully with rest he'll be okay. Guess he hurt it climbing or falling from a tree.
